Welcome to Gateways’ Worship Arts Ministry Blog. This is going to become one of our main forms of communication for the Worship Arts Ministry at Gateway. My hopes for this blog is that it will become a central place to share information about the Worship Arts Ministry (WAM) like changes and practices and what not, to share some of my dreams for the WAM and to build some community. I realize these are big dreams for something as simple as a blog, but I’m a dreamer.
Community among Worship Arts Team members has always been a challenge I haven’t quite been able to figure out. We’re a big group of people, and we very rarely meet in a setting where all of us are together. There are smaller groups of us who are getting to know each other, but there’s little “cross-pollination.”
We’re going to do some more things throughout the year where we all get together for fellowship and getting to know each other, but that will only take us so far. So, please look around this blog, read the comments on the posts and reply to comments. Let’s start, in a small way, to share in each other’s lives throughout the week!
